Overview Our client is looking for a warm, organized receptionist to manage check-in/out, calls, cashiering, and lobby flow while keeping guests delighted from arrival to departure. Key responsibilities: - Process check-in/out in PMS; verify ID, payment, and room status - Answer calls/emails within SLA; route messages; coordinate wake-up calls - Maintain float, reconcile folios, and close shift accurately - Coordinate room readiness and maintenance tickets with Housekeeping/Engineering - Upsell room types, packages, and late checkout; log conversions - Manage key control, lobby queuing, and VIP amenities with Guest Relations - Record preferences & incidents in CRM; protect guest data (PCI) - Prepare arrival/in-house/departure reports and shift handover Education & experience: - Certificate/Diploma in Front Office Operations/Hospitality (Utalii or equivalent). 1+ year at reception (internship acceptable). Skills & tools: - Opera/Cloud PMS, POS, Excel/Outlook; guest focus, cash handling, calm under pressure. KPIs: - On-time check-ins, upsell conversion %, cashier variance, arrival/departure NPS. Working conditions: - Rotating shifts (nights/weekends/public holidays), prolonged standing. Salary (KES / month): 26,000 – 44,000 (brand, city & service charge affect offers).
