Openings: 4 positions Location: Nairobi – CBD & Westlands bars Overview Our client is looking for four Bartenders to craft classics and signatures to spec, control wastage, and keep the bar buzzing with clean setup, quick service, and guest engagement. Key Responsibilities: - Mix cocktails to recipe; maintain garnish and glassware standards. - Set up/break down stations; maintain par levels and cleanliness. - Operate POS; process payments; keep pour costs in line. - Enforce ID checks and responsible service of alcohol. - Complete weekly stock counts; report variances. - Collaborate with floor team during peaks; support event bars. Education & Experience: - Mixology/Bar certificate preferred. - 1–2 years bar experience in hotel/restaurant settings. Skills & Tools: - Tools: jiggers/speed pourers, shakers, POS, inventory sheets. - Skills: mixology basics, guest engagement, numeracy, hygiene. KPIs: - Pour variance; speed of service; guest ratings; sales per hour. Work Conditions: - Late nights; standing; handling glass/ice/CO₂. Compensation (Kenya) KES 58,000–70,000/month (+ tips).
