Openings: 6 positions Location: Nairobi – Multiple café kiosks Overview: Our client is looking for six Baristas to dial-in espresso, steam consistent micro-foam, and serve at speed while educating guests on beans, brew methods, and pairings. Key Responsibilities: - Dial-in grinders; keep shots within yield/time spec. - Steam milk; maintain latte art quality and temperature. - Clean/maintain machines and grinders; log maintenance. - Operate POS; reconcile cash/cards; maintain par levels. - Explain menu items and recommend pairings; upsell specials. - Support kiosk setup/breakdown and restocking. Education & Experience: - Barista training certificate preferred; KCSE. - 6–12 months café/hotel barista experience. Skills & Tools: - Tools: semi-automatic espresso machine, grinders, scales, POS. - Skills: espresso fundamentals, latte art, speed/quality balance, guest care. KPIs: - Shot yield/time within spec; guest ratings; average check uplift. Work Conditions: - Early opens; standing; handling hot liquids/steam. Compensation (Kenya) KES 45,000–60,000/month (+ service charge where applicable). Benefits: - Meals/coffee allowance; uniform; medical.
