Overview

Our client is looking for a commercial-savvy Restaurant Manager to own P&L, people, and guest experience, driving traffic, average check, and margin while keeping standards tight and the team engaged.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver outlet P&L: forecast, budget, monthly variance analysis.
Recruit, train, roster, and performance-manage a high-output team.
Lift guest satisfaction via coaching, audits, and SOP adherence.
Partner with kitchen on menu engineering and product quality.
Lead inventories, cost control, supplier relationships, and audits.
Plan promotions/events; analyze results and iterate.
Ensure compliance (HACCP, licensing, labor law) and safety drills.

Education & Experience

Diploma/Degree in Hospitality/F&B Mgmt or Business.
3–5 years supervisory experience in busy restaurants.

Skills & Tools

Tools: POS/back-office, Excel/BI dashboards, reservation platforms.
Skills: leadership, financial acumen, people development, marketing.

KPIs

GOP margin; labor %; food cost %; NPS/reviews; staff turnover.

Work Conditions

Evenings/weekends; floor presence during peaks.

Compensation (Kenya) KES 200,000–270,000/month (+ KPI bonus).
