Taxes are more than numbers; they’re the bridge between compliance, cash efficiency, and strategic decisions. In this role, you’ll take ownership of VAT, WHT, PAYE, and ETR filings, ensuring that the company meets deadlines while minimizing unnecessary costs. Every return reconciled and every ledger checked is a step toward audit readiness and financial credibility.
Beyond routine compliance, you’ll dive into corporate tax estimates and year-end computations, spotting opportunities to optimize cash flows. Your work will feed directly into board reports and management decisions, making your accuracy and foresight critical.
Contracts and agreements cross your desk, and you’ll assess tax implications, flag risks, and advise on structuring that reduces exposure. This advisory lens keeps the finance team proactive rather than reactive and ensures that savings don’t slip through unnoticed.
Audits and regulatory correspondence are your stage to demonstrate control and clarity. Preparing defense files, answering queries, and maintaining meticulous records teaches both discipline and confidence when regulators come knocking.
