Openings: 1 Location: Thika / Nairobi Overview: Our client is looking for a Cost Accountant who can translate factory realities into accurate product costs, BOMs, yields, variances, and actionable margin insights. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain standard costs & BOMs; review routings with Production. - Analyze material/labour/overhead variances; drive corrective actions. - Track yields/waste; set reporting cadences with line supervisors. - Lead monthly stock counts & WIP valuation; publish count accuracy. - Support pricing decisions; profitability by SKU and channel. Education & Experience: - BCom/Finance; CPA; 3–5 years costing in manufacturing. Skills & Tools: - ERP MRP modules, Excel (PowerQuery), curiosity on shop-floor. KPIs: - Variance %; stock-take accuracy; margin by SKU; waste trend. Compensation (Kenya) KES 170,000–280,000 + plant bonus.
