Overview

Our client is looking for a Cost Accountant who can translate factory realities into accurate product costs, BOMs, yields, variances, and actionable margin insights.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain standard costs & BOMs; review routings with Production.
Analyze material/labour/overhead variances; drive corrective actions.
Track yields/waste; set reporting cadences with line supervisors.
Lead monthly stock counts & WIP valuation; publish count accuracy.
Support pricing decisions; profitability by SKU and channel.

Education & Experience

BCom/Finance; CPA; 3–5 years costing in manufacturing.

Skills & Tools

ERP MRP modules, Excel (PowerQuery), curiosity on shop-floor.

KPIs

Variance %; stock-take accuracy; margin by SKU; waste trend.

Compensation (Kenya) KES 170,000–280,000 + plant bonus. Figures are estimates shared by our clients and vary with your experience, interview performance, certifications, and company pay bands.
