Openings: 5 positions Location: Nairobi - Village Market Overview: The Retail Supervisor role is a frontline leadership position focused on driving store performance, maintaining visual excellence, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. Based at Village Market in Nairobi, this role blends hands-on operations with people leadership, overseeing daily activities, guiding sales teams, and upholding the brand’s standards. You’ll be the anchor of the store’s energy, ensuring displays are flawless, service is engaging, and every team member performs with purpose. It’s a fast-paced environment where you’ll balance leadership, organization, and attention to detail, keeping the store efficient, inviting, and ready to convert shoppers into loyal customers. Beyond operations, the role demands emotional intelligence and agility. You’ll motivate your team, solve problems quickly, and act as the bridge between floor-level execution and management strategy. Success means not only meeting sales and service goals but fostering a store atmosphere that feels energized, professional, and aligned with the brand’s values. Key Responsibilities: - Lead sales associates; coach on conversion and attach rate. - Manage rosters, opening/closing, cash and stock audits. - Keep displays/planograms immaculate; launch promos on time. - Resolve escalations; drive NPS. - Report daily sales, footfall, and product feedback. Education & Experience: - Diploma/BCom in Business/Marketing. - 2–4 years retail with 1+ year team lead. Skills & Tools: - POS, inventory systems, coaching, and visual merchandising. KPIs: - Sales vs target; conversion; attachments; shrink; NPS. Compensation (Kenya): KES 70,000–120,000 + store incentives. Figures are estimates provided by our clients and vary based on your experience, interview performance, certifications, and company pay bands. Benefits: Medical, uniforms, and staff discounts.
