Based along Murang’a Road in Ngara, the role blends analytical rigor with field intuition, translating customer insights into decisions that shape products, pricing, and marketing. You’ll design studies, manage field partners, and analyze data from surveys, intercepts, and internal systems. Beyond reporting numbers, you’ll craft clear, actionable narratives that guide teams on what to build, fix, or prioritize. Expect to balance time between spreadsheets, fieldwork coordination, and boardroom presentations. This role suits a curious problem-solver who enjoys turning messy datasets into clarity. You’ll be the bridge between customer sentiment and business action, ensuring research findings aren’t just documented but drive measurable change across the organization. Key Responsibilities: - Design research plans (qual/quant); write instruments and quotas. - Manage fieldwork partners; ensure data quality and ethics. - Clean/weight/analyze data; build clear visualizations. - Present insights and recommended actions to product/marketing. - Maintain competitor/price trackers and consumer diaries. - Archive datasets and codebooks for repeatability. Education & Experience: - BCom (Marketing/Statistics) or BA (PPM) with quant skills. - 2–4 years of research in agency/client-side. Skills & Tools: - Excel/SPSS/R, survey platforms, storytelling, basic SQL. KPIs: - Study adoption rate, time-to-insight, forecast accuracy, decision impact. Compensation (Kenya): KES 100,000–180,000 + research bonus. Figures are client estimates and vary with experience. Benefits: - Medical, field per diems, training.
