Openings: 4 positions Location: Nairobi – Eastlands & CBD routes Overview: Our client is seeking four Trade Marketing Executives to make brands visible and sellable on shelves across Nairobi’s modern and general trade channels. The company distributes personal care and household brands with aggressive quarterly targets and precise execution standards. You’ll plan planograms, deploy POSM, and turn every listing into a mini-campaign with merch teams. The role is field-heavy, data-driven, and ideal for someone who loves the fast-paced nature of the market. Key Responsibilities: - Execute visibility plans; set planograms and secondary placements. - Roll out promotions; brief merchandisers; track compliance via photos/apps. - Audit pricing, OSA, and competitor moves; recommend fixes. - Support listing negotiations with KAMs; prepare decks and samples. - Manage POSM inventory and allocations; prevent losses. - Publish weekly trade scorecards and photo evidence. Education & Experience: - Diploma/BCom in Marketing/Business. - 1–3 years trade/retail execution (FMCG, telco, electronics). Skills & Tools: - Negotiation, merchandising standards, field apps, Excel, driving a plus. KPIs: - OSA, compliance score, promo ROI, share of shelf, numeric/weighted distribution. Compensation (Kenya): KES 80,000–150,000 + field incentives + transport allowance. Figures are client estimates and vary with experience and performance. Benefits: - Medical, phone/data, uniform/PPE where needed. Growth Path (hierarchy/expected promotions): - Senior Trade Exec → Trade Marketing Supervisor → Channel/Category Manager.
