Openings: 4 positions Location: Nairobi – Eastlands & CBD routes Overview: A leading distributor of personal care and household brands is hiring 4 Trade Marketing Executives to supercharge its visibility and sales execution across Nairobi’s bustling modern and general trade routes. Based along Eastlands and CBD circuits, you’ll be the driving force behind how the company’s brands show up on shelves, at counters, and in the minds of shoppers. Your days will blend strategy and street smarts: planning planograms, deploying POSM, coaching merch teams, and spotting opportunities store by store. You’ll audit pricing, track promotions, and turn insights into instant action. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role for someone who loves the field, thrives on measurable impact, and knows that execution excellence builds brands. If you’re ambitious, organized, and ready to turn trade data into real sales momentum, this role puts you right at the heart of where marketing meets market reality. Key Responsibilities: - Execute visibility plans; set planograms and secondary placements. - Roll out promotions; brief merchandisers; track compliance via photos/apps. - Audit pricing, OSA, and competitor moves; recommend fixes. - Support listing negotiations with KAMs; prepare decks and samples. - Manage POSM inventory and allocations; prevent losses. - Publish weekly trade scorecards and photo evidence. Education & Experience: - Diploma/BCom in Marketing/Business. - 1–3 years trade/retail execution (FMCG, telco, electronics). Skills & Tools: - Negotiation, merchandising standards, field apps, Excel, driving a plus. KPIs: - OSA, compliance score, promo ROI, share of shelf, numeric/weighted distribution. Compensation (Kenya): KES 80,000–150,000 + field incentives + transport allowance. Figures are client estimates and vary with experience and performance.
