Openings: 1 Location: Nairobi – Karen (Ngong View) Overview: Our client is on the lookout for an L&D Specialist who believes learning should feel less like a lecture and more like an experience. This fast-growing hospitality and retail group is opening new outlets across Karen and the CBD and they want someone who can turn everyday moments into teachable wins. From sharpening service standards to rolling out leadership academies, you’ll be shaping a culture that learns fast, performs better, and celebrates growth. If you can turn a training needs analysis into an actionable learning journey, keep your LMS spotless, and make managers say “that training actually worked”, you’ll fit right in. The environment is hands-on, people-first, and big on progress, the kind of place where impact is measured not just in slides delivered, but in smiles, sales, and smoother shifts. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct training needs analysis; map to business goals. - Design and deliver blended programs (classroom, e-learning, coaching). - Manage LMS; track completions and assessments. - Run leadership and customer-service academies. - Measure impact (pre/post scores, KPIs) and publish results. - Manage training calendar, vendors, and budgets. Education & Experience: - Degree/Diploma in HR/Training/Education. - 3–5 years L&D design/delivery; hospitality/retail a plus. Skills & Tools: - Instructional design, facilitation, LMS, analytics, stakeholder mgmt. KPIs: - Completion rates, post-training KPI lift, satisfaction/NPS, budget adherence. Compensation (Kenya): KES 100,000–180,000 + KPI bonus. Client estimates vary with experience and outcomes. Benefits: - Medical, meals, and training budget.
