Openings: 1 Location: Nairobi – Ruaraka (Baba Dogo Rd) Overview: Our client is looking for a Supply Planner to translate demand into feasible production and purchase plans for a beverages plant in Ruaraka. The factory runs three shifts and shares lines across SKUs, so constraints are real and trade-offs are daily. You’ll balance service levels with capacity, materials, and cost, and you’ll lead supply reviews that lock the plan. It’s a role for a calm optimizer who loves Gantt charts and honest conversations. Key Responsibilities: - Convert demand into MPS/MRP; manage capacity and materials plans. - Set and tune safety stocks; monitor service level and OTIF. - Place POs/PRs; track inbound; escalate shortages. - Chair weekly supply review; publish a frozen horizon. - Coordinate with Production, QA, and Warehouse on readiness. - Maintain planning parameters and master data. - Run what-if scenarios for promos and outages. Education & Experience: - BCom (Operations/Supply Chain) or Diploma in Purchasing & Supplies. - 2–4 years in planning (MRP/production scheduling). Skills & Tools: - ERP MRP, Excel/BI, constraint thinking, stakeholder management. KPIs: - Service level, plan adherence, changeover losses, and inventory turns. Compensation (Kenya): KES 120,000–200,000 + annual bonus. Figures are client estimates and vary with experience. Benefits: - Medical, meals, PPE, training.
