Openings: 1 Location: Nairobi – Industrial Area (Lunga Lunga Rd) Overview: Our client is looking for a CI Specialist to drive Lean projects for a food manufacturer with two plants and a Nairobi DC. You’ll own time-and-motion studies, Kaizen events, and capability building, translating waste into wins that stick. The culture values shop-floor presence and evidence over slides. Key Responsibilities: - Lead VSMs and Kaizen events; prioritize high-impact wastes (DOWNTIME). - Establish standard work; lock in controls and visual management. - Build CI dashboards (yield, OEE, changeover, rework). - Train line leaders; certify yellow/green belts. - Work with QA/HSE to ensure safe, compliant improvements. Education & Experience: - BCom (Operations) or Diploma in Business + Lean training. - 3–5 years CI/Lean/Six Sigma in manufacturing or logistics. Skills & Tools: - Lean toolkit, Excel/BI, facilitation, problem-solving. KPIs: - OEE, changeover time, scrap/rework %, project ROI, audit scores. Compensation (Kenya): KES 120,000–200,000 + improvement bonus. Figures are client estimates and may vary depending on experience. Benefits: - Medical, meals, PPE, training.
