Openings: 2 positions Location: Nairobi – Utawala Overview: Our client is looking for ICT Teachers to deliver Computer Studies and applied digital skills (productivity tools, coding basics, safe internet). You’ll maintain a small lab, manage devices, and design authentic projects (spreadsheets, presentations, simple web pages). The department values practical competence over rote theory. Key Responsibilities: - Teach Computer Studies (KNEC) with project-based learning. - Maintain lab inventory, software images, and acceptable-use rules. - Integrate digital literacy across subjects (with teacher training). - Prepare learners for practical exams; run coding clubs. - Ensure e-safety policies and parental consent practices. Education & Experience: - B.Ed ICT / BSc IT + PGDE; 2–4 years teaching preferred. Skills & Tools: - Basic networking, MS/Google Suite, HTML/CSS basics, device management. KPIs: - Practical pass rates, lab uptime, student projects quality, e-safety compliance. Compensation (Kenya): KES 70,000–115,000 + lab upkeep stipend.
