Open the door to a role where empathy meets impact. As a School Counselor, you’ll be the first line of support for students navigating academic pressure, social challenges, and emotional growth. You’ll deliver preventive programs, one-on-one sessions, and structured referrals, helping students thrive while keeping teachers and parents equipped to spot early warning signs. Confidentiality, evidence-based practice, and alignment with child protection policy are at the core of everything you do.
Your work blends counseling, coaching, and strategic insight. You’ll track attendance trends, monitor behavior patterns, and feed insights into school-wide interventions. Partnering closely with SNE staff and safeguarding teams, you’ll tackle complex cases with sensitivity and clarity.
Beyond the individual, you’ll shape the school’s culture of wellbeing. Workshops on bullying, digital wellbeing, and study skills will empower students and teachers alike, building a resilient, informed community. Your guidance ensures that support is not just reactive, but embedded in the daily life of the school.
The role measures success in tangible student outcomes, attendance improvement, reduced behavioral incidents, and effective referral pathways while giving you visibility across programs, policy, and school leadership.
