As Academic Registrar, you’ll be the linchpin ensuring every process from admissions to transcripts runs smoothly, accurately, and in full compliance. You’ll own timetables, exam integrity, and records management while embedding audit-proof systems that faculty and leadership can trust. This is more than just administration; it’s about making the student journey seamless. You’ll coordinate across departments, resolve conflicts, and translate policies into practical workflows. Clean data, clear processes, and timely reporting are your tools for turning operational complexity into clarity. Expect to be the bridge between leadership and the academic community, publishing dashboards, handbooks, and policy updates that keep everyone aligned. The result? Key Responsibilities: - Manage admissions, registration, credit transfers, and records. - Build term timetables, rooming, and invigilation rosters. - Oversee examinations, moderation, results processing, and transcripts. - Maintain policies (appeals, special exams, deferrals) and compliance. - Publish calendars, handbooks, and management dashboards. Education & Experience: - Degree in Education/Admin; 4–6 years in registrar/academics office. Skills & Tools: - SIS/MIS (PowerCampus/UNIT4/Custom), Excel/SQL basics, documentation. KPIs: - Registration cycle time, error rates, audit outcomes, and student satisfaction. Compensation (Kenya): KES 150,000–240,000 + annual bonus.
