You’ll balance the rigor of technique with the joy of creativity: teaching stage presence, choreography, music, and dramatic flair, while ensuring rehearsals and performances run smoothly. Think of it as orchestrating both art and organization, where every student gets a moment to flourish. From planning term concerts to managing budgets for costumes and props, your role is part artist, part logistical wizard. You’ll collaborate closely with teachers to fit arts seamlessly into the school day, all while keeping safeguarding and consent protocols front and center. Success here isn’t just applause, it’s measurable: student participation, polished performances, timely rehearsals, and glowing feedback from parents and peers. You’re not just coaching the arts; you’re shaping confidence, teamwork, and lifelong appreciation for creativity. Key Responsibilities: - Plan rehearsals; select age-appropriate repertoire/scripts. - Teach technique, stage presence, and ensemble discipline. - Manage costumes, props, budgets, and event logistics. - Enforce safeguarding and performance consent protocols. - Document progress and produce reflection pieces with students. Education & Experience: - Diploma/Degree in Music/Theatre/Dance or Education + arts specialization; 2–4 years coaching. Skills & Tools: - Rehearsal planning, stagecraft, event coordination, child safety. KPIs: Participation rates, performance quality, punctuality, and feedback from students/parents.
