Openings: 1 Location: Nairobi – City Cotton area (Jogoo Rd light-industrial belt) Overview: Our client is looking for a Dairy Plant Technician to run pasteurizers, homogenizers, and pouch/bottle lines for milk and cultured products. You’ll guard CIP integrity, temperature logs, and packaging quality while coaching operators. Expect shift rotations and strict hygiene. Key Responsibilities: - Operate and monitor pasteurization/homogenization; keep logs. - Run CIP cycles; verify concentrations and contact times. - Troubleshoot line issues; coordinate with maintenance. - Enforce hygiene/PPE; minimize waste and rework. - Support QA sampling and traceability. Education & Experience: - Diploma in Food Tech/Mech/Process Eng or BSc Food Science + 2–4 yrs processing. Skills & Tools: - Dairy plant ops, CIP, basic PLC awareness, documentation. KPIs: - Micro pass rates, OEE, waste %, unplanned downtime. Compensation (Kenya): KES 100,000–160,000 + shift allowance + production bonus. Figures are client estimates and vary with experience.
