Openings: 1 Location: Nairobi – Kileleshwa (Mandera Rd / Oloitoktok close) Overview: Our client is looking for a MEAL Lead to build credible evidence systems across health, education, and protection projects. You’ll design theories of change, sampling plans, and data quality routines, then translate findings into simple decisions that program teams actually use. The culture prizes ethical data collection, transparent assumptions, and quick learning cycles. Key Responsibilities: - Design MEL frameworks, indicator reference sheets, and sampling plans. - Build and maintain data pipelines (ODK/CommCare → dashboards). - Run DQAs, enumerator training, and supervision spot-checks. - Lead after-action reviews; publish learning briefs and adaptations. - Manage accountability channels (hotlines, community scorecards). - Support evaluations (baseline/midline/endline) and TORs for consultants. Education & Experience: - Statistics/Economics/Public Policy/Development; 5–7 yrs in MEAL across multi-sector portfolios. Skills & Tools: - Survey design, R/SPSS/Excel, data visualization, facilitation, safeguarding. KPIs: - Timely, high-quality reports; DQA pass rates; % recommendations adopted; accountability response time. Compensation (Kenya): KES 200,000–320,000 + project bonuses. Figures are client estimates and vary with experience and donor scale. Benefits: Medical, pension, training/CPD budget, and field per diems.
