Openings: 1 Location: Nairobi – Gigiri (UN Ave / Karura interface) Overview: Running a multi-school sports and co-curricular program is part strategist, part conductor and in this role, you get to do both. From athletics and ball sports to aquatics and performing arts, you’ll design season calendars, talent pathways, and participation targets that push excellence without sacrificing academics or safeguarding. Our client counts on you to keep courts, tracks, pools, and rehearsal spaces humming year-round. You’ll own budgets, coach development, and scheduling, ensuring no fixture clashes, no safety gaps, and no frustrated parents or students. Calm match-day leadership and data-informed decisions are your superpowers here. Think of this as a role where big-picture vision meets meticulous execution. You’ll mentor coaches, standardize sessions, and build measurable programs that inspire students while delivering medal results. Key Responsibilities: - Build annual sports strategy, budget, and participation/medal OKRs. - Hire, mentor, and evaluate coaches; standardize session plans & safety. - Publish fixtures & logistics (transport, medical, chaperones, permits). - Oversee trials, talent ID, and inter-school federation compliance. - Coordinate facilities timetable (courts, fields, pool) and maintenance. - Report termly results, injuries, and parent satisfaction. Education & Experience: - BSc Exercise & Sports Science / B.Ed (PE & Sports) + 6–10 yrs leadership. Skills & Tools: - Season planning, budgeting, risk/safeguarding, stakeholder comms, basic BI. KPIs: - Participation rate, injury incidence, medal tally vs plan, coach retention. Compensation (Kenya): KES 230,000–380,000 + annual performance bonus. Figures are estimates from our clients and vary with your experience and results.
