As a Group Fitness Instructor, you’re not just counting reps; you’re crafting experiences that make people feel energized, capable, and part of a community. Cue clearly, adjust movements for mixed levels, and keep the energy infectious from warm-up to cooldown. Music isn’t background noise, it’s a tool. You’ll manage playlists, mic levels, and class flow to keep motivation high and transitions seamless. Every squat, lunge, or plank is an opportunity to teach, correct, and inspire safely. Safety, form, and engagement are your constant companions. Results matter, but so does vibe. Track attendance, gather feedback, and celebrate small wins, whether it’s a member mastering a new move or hitting a personal best. Community challenges, high-fives, and consistency turn repeat attendees into loyal fans. This role is your stage to blend technique, energy, and personality. Lead with confidence, bring creativity to every session, and watch your classes become the highlight of someone’s day. Key Responsibilities: - Plan class blocks with regressions/progressions. - Coach technique; watch form; adjust safely. - Manage music, mic, and room flow. - Track attendance and feedback; promote challenges. - Maintain cleanliness and equipment. Education & Experience: - Fitness certs (ACE/REPs/RYT etc.); 1–3 yrs teaching. Skills & Tools: - Cueing, programming, music timing, basic first aid. KPIs: - Attendance, repeat bookings, incident-free classes, reviews. Compensation (Kenya): KES 2,000–3,500 per class (avg KES 60,000–90,000/month) + challenge bonuses.
