Openings: 1 Location: Nairobi – Hurlingham (Argwings Kodhek / Yaya zone) Overview: Our client is looking for an Esports Coordinator to set up leagues, scrims, and coaching for teens and university clubs. You’ll manage labs/gear, schedule tournaments, enforce codes of conduct, and integrate wellness (breaks, posture, vision). Partnership with parents and schools is critical to keep esports positive and structured. Key Responsibilities: - Stand-up PCs/consoles network; maintain peripherals & updates. - Schedule leagues/scrims; run brackets, streams, and highlights. - Draft codes of conduct; manage moderation and safety. - Recruit coaches; publish training blocks and team goals. - Engage sponsors & venues; report participation/retention. Education & Experience: - Sports/Events/IT combo; 2–4 yrs student programs or gaming events. Skills & Tools: - LAN setup, OBS/stream basics, bracket tools, safeguarding, comms. KPIs: - Team retention, event attendance, safety/compliance, sponsor engagement. Compensation (Kenya): KES 100,000–170,000 + event bonuses. Client estimates; varies with scale & sponsors.
