Openings: 1 Location: Nairobi – Hurlingham (Argwings Kodhek / Yaya zone) Overview: Esports isn’t just gaming; it’s strategy, teamwork, and discipline rolled into a screen, and you’ll be the one making it all run smoothly. As Esports Coordinator, you’ll design leagues, scrimmages, and coaching programs for teens and university clubs, ensuring every session is engaging, fair, and structured. From scheduling tournaments to running live brackets and streams, the spotlight is on creating experiences that players, coaches, and parents respect. Behind the scenes, you’ll keep labs, consoles, PCs, and peripherals in top shape, managing updates, networks, and equipment logistics so nothing interrupts play. Codes of conduct, moderation, and safety protocols are your tools to maintain a positive and inclusive gaming environment, while wellness breaks, posture, and screen habits are integrated into every program. Partnerships matter as much as play. You’ll coordinate with schools, parents, and sponsors to grow participation, secure resources, and track retention. Reporting isn’t just paperwork; it’s a snapshot of engagement, compliance, and the health of the community you’re building. In short, you’re not just running tournaments, you’re shaping a safe, structured, and fun ecosystem where student gamers thrive, learn, and stay connected. Key Responsibilities: - Stand-up PCs/consoles network; maintain peripherals & updates. - Schedule leagues/scrims; run brackets, streams, and highlights. - Draft codes of conduct; manage moderation and safety. - Recruit coaches; publish training blocks and team goals. - Engage sponsors & venues; report participation/retention. Education & Experience: - Sports/Events/IT combo; 2–4 yrs student programs or gaming events. Skills & Tools: - LAN setup, OBS/stream basics, bracket tools, safeguarding, comms. KPIs: - Team retention, event attendance, safety/compliance, sponsor engagement. Compensation (Kenya): KES 100,000–170,000 + event bonuses. Client estimates; varies with scale & sponsors.
