From rehearsals to show calls, you’ll translate creative vision into precise cues while ensuring performers, crew, and equipment move safely and smoothly. No two shows are the same, and that unpredictability is exactly what keeps you sharp. Our client needs someone who thrives under pressure. You’ll coordinate FOH, lighting, audio, and security, making split-second decisions while keeping communication crystal clear. Props, scene changes, and tech runs all fall under your watch, and your prompt book will be your bible. Every show is a puzzle, and you’re the solver. You’ll log incidents, track changes, and refine processes so the next performance is cleaner, safer, and faster. Calm, methodical, and organized, you’ll turn chaos into flow without ever dimming the energy of the stage. Success is measured in flawless cues, happy performers, and crew feedback that praises your leadership. Key Responsibilities: - Prep prompt book; plot cues; run tech and dress rehearsals. - Manage backstage call times, props, scene changes. - Coordinate with FOH, security, and H&S for crowd control. - Log incidents, changes, and post-show notes. - Maintain comms (comms packs, runners, radios). Education & Experience: - Theatre/Events/Media diplomas + 2–4 yrs. Skills & Tools: - Cueing, comms, basic rigging awareness, first aid. KPIs: - On-time starts, cue accuracy, incident-free shows, crew feedback. Compensation (Kenya): KES 80,000–120,000 + show/day allowances. Estimates; actuals vary with show frequency, scale, night rates, and overtime policies. Some employers blend retainers with per-show pay. Benefits: - Medical, meals on show days, PPE, CPD.
