Sound is everything, and as a Live Sound Engineer, you’ll be the invisible force making every note, word, and effect hit perfectly. From concerts to conferences, festivals to corporate gigs, your mixes will define the audience experience. You’ll balance clarity, dynamics, and punch while keeping feedback and interference at bay.
Our client is seeking someone who can think fast and act faster. You’ll rig PA, run line checks, and mix FOH and monitor feeds under changing conditions, whether it’s blazing sun, rain, or a last-minute stage change. The build and strike can be long, but the payoff is flawless in every show.
Collaboration is key. You’ll coordinate with stage managers, lighting crews, and performers, capturing cues and making sure the technical team speaks one language. Gear logs, RF frequencies, and multitrack captures will all be under your watchful eye. Safety and H&S aren’t optional, they’re part of your rhythm.
Every show is a new challenge. You’ll troubleshoot on the fly, adapt mixes for space and crowd size, and maintain consistency across performances. Your work ensures that what audiences hear matches what the director envisioned every time.
Success isn’t just in the sound; it’s in repeat bookings, crew confidence, and client satisfaction. This role opens a pathway to senior audio engineering, system design, and ultimately Technical Director (Audio), letting you shape live sound at the highest level.
