Talent doesn’t manage itself. As a Talent Manager, you’ll be the bridge between raw potential and commercial success, scouting artists across Afropop, gengetone, gospel, and comedy, then shaping careers that resonate with fans and brands alike. Every pipeline, release, and collaboration passes through your hands, and your decisions directly influence who gets heard and who gets noticed.
Our client is looking for someone who thrives in the hustle of the music and creator economy. You’ll negotiate contracts, protect intellectual property, and make sure splits, royalties, and PRO registrations are airtight. Timing matters: from single drops to EP rollouts, your orchestration ensures every release hits its mark without hiccups.
Brand partnerships are part of the rhythm. You’ll pitch, negotiate, and manage activations while keeping artists’ integrity intact. Your relational skills are tested daily, whether convincing a brand to back an emerging act or keeping a high-profile creator aligned with strategy. Organization is your secret weapon. Roadmaps, calendars, crew schedules, and budgets all need your precise attention. The commercial side of the role is as critical as the creative, turning fan engagement into streams, deal value, and sustainable careers.
Success here isn’t just measured in streams or signed deals, it’s in the growth of your roster, the retention of top talent, and your ability to consistently deliver outcomes that balance artistry with business. This role leads naturally to Senior Talent Manager, Head of A&R, and eventually GM of Label & Partnerships, putting you at the heart of Nairobi’s entertainment industry.
KES 160,000–260,000 + commission on deals. Client estimates; final pay varies with your roster results, deal pipeline, legal literacy on rights, and network depth. Commission structures differ by label/agency policy.
Ideal promotion cycle.
