Openings: 1 Location: Nairobi – Kitisuru (Tranquil Ln / Peponi Rise belt) Overview: Our client is looking for a Talent Manager to scout, sign, and grow artists and creators across Afropop, gengetone, gospel, and comedy. You’ll negotiate contracts, coordinate releases, and manage brand partnerships while protecting IP and reputation. The work is relational, commercial, and relentlessly organized. Key Responsibilities: - Scout talent; manage pipelines; negotiate option terms and splits. - Plan releases (singles/EPs); coordinate distro, PR, and visual assets. - Pitch brand deals; manage deliverables and reporting. - Protect IP; oversee legal paperwork, splits, and PRO registrations. - Run roadmaps and calendars; manage budgets and crews. Education & Experience: - Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business/PR/Media Law/Communication; 4–6 yrs talent/label/agency. Skills & Tools: - Negotiation, contracts, rights/royalties, creator economy, calendars. KPIs: - Streams/engagement, deal value, on-time releases, retention. Compensation (Kenya): KES 160,000–260,000 + commission on deals. Client estimates; final pay varies with your roster results, deal pipeline, legal literacy on rights, and network depth.
