Making hits isn’t magic it’s precision, vision, and collaboration. As a Producer/Engineer, you’ll take songs from rough ideas to polished tracks ready for radio and social feeds. You’ll guide artists through songwriting, arrangements, tracking, and mixing, while keeping session files tidy and studio time running like clockwork. Deadlines are tight, but so is the need for creative freedom and sonic quality.
Our client wants someone who thrives both behind the console and in the room with artists. You’ll make technical choices that shape the emotional impact of a track, whether it’s a vocal comp, an instrument layering, or a synth tweak. Every EQ, plugin, and gain stage matters; every track has to be ready for streaming, mastering, and public ears without compromise.
Studio management is part of the craft. From session backups to plugin updates, patching out problems before they happen, you’re the person who keeps the gears moving while artists focus on performance. File hygiene is as important as vibe loose tracks or missing stems can undo hours of work.
Collaboration is continuous. You’ll liaise with A&R, communicate timelines, and incorporate feedback, balancing artist creativity with commercial deadlines. The work is fast, dynamic, and sometimes high-pressure, but every polished release is a testament to your technical skill and musical intuition. Success here is measured in smooth sessions, satisfied artists, and tracks that hit their mark. Your growth path leads to Senior Producer, then Studio Manager, and eventually Head of Production at a label putting you at the center of Nairobi’s music scene and shaping the sound of the city’s next hits.
