Openings: 2 Location: Nairobi – Gikomba Trade Centre (Ladhies Rd / Pumwani spur) Overview: Relationships drive results. In this role, you’ll turn prospects into partners, navigating sectors from corporate brands to local champions. Every conversation, email, and pitch shapes how sponsors perceive the events and the brand behind them. Your ability to balance commercial goals with the integrity of the festival or esports experience is key. The work is fast-paced and requires creativity. You’ll design tiered sponsorship packages, tailor bespoke proposals, and negotiate deliverables that deliver real ROI. Each deck should tell a compelling story that makes sponsors feel part of the action rather than just a logo on a banner. Execution matters as much as the pitch. Coordinating on-site branding, mentions, and hospitality ensures that promises translate into tangible visibility and satisfaction. You’ll be the bridge between the sponsor’s expectations and the audience’s experience. Data informs your success. Post-event reports with metrics, visuals, and insights turn relationship management into a repeatable strategy. Your ability to track, analyze, and communicate outcomes ensures sponsors return and pipelines stay hot. Our client values those who can grow with the business. Key Responsibilities: - Prospect sectors; maintain CRM; run outreach cadences. - Build tiered packages and bespoke proposals with deliverables. - Negotiate contracts; manage invoicing and fulfillment. - Coordinate on-site branding, mentions, and hospitality. - Report post-event outcomes with data and visuals. Education & Experience: - Diploma or Bachelor's degree in BCom/Marketing/PR + 2–4 yrs event sponsorships. Skills & Tools: - Prospecting, negotiation, CRM, decks, measurement. KPIs: - Sponsorship revenue, close rate, renewal rate, receivables days. Compensation (Kenya): KES 90,000–135,000 + commission (3–7% of net sales). Estimates; real earnings vary with pipeline health, sectors assigned, event seasonality, and commission structure (retainer vs draw). Top closers significantly exceed base.
