From preparing learning stations to supporting phonics and basic numeracy, your work will directly enhance lessons while giving teachers the support they need to focus on instruction. Playground supervision and smooth transitions will be part of your daily rhythm, keeping children safe and engaged throughout the day. You’ll also interact with parents under teacher guidance, update display boards, and maintain classroom materials and cleanliness. Every small effort tidy shelves, prepared stations, clear communication contributes to a joyful, effective learning environment. Over time, you’ll develop foundational skills in classroom management, child development, and instructional support. Compensation (Kenya): - Base: KES 40,000–56,000. - Term stipend: KES 3,000–5,000 for classroom setup weeks. - After-school care premium: +10% for 4–6 pm duty. Client estimates.
