Science labs run on precision, preparation, and strict safety. As a Lab Technician Trainee, you’ll prepare apparatus and reagents, support teachers during demonstrations, and ensure all chemical and biological waste is handled according to SOPs. Accuracy and methodical record-keeping are more important than rushing through tasks.

You’ll manage labeled shelves, maintain stock levels, update inventories, and reorder essentials, keeping the lab ready for daily lessons and peak exam periods. During practicals, you’ll support teachers by setting up equipment, enforcing PPE, and assisting students as needed. You’ll also clean and sterilize glassware, dispose of waste correctly, and help plan timetables for exams to prevent last-minute surprises.
