You’ll communicate clearly with parents, drivers, and security using prepared scripts, track attendance, and record any incidents. A calm, steady presence is essential, especially during busy morning and afternoon shifts. Daily responsibilities include checking route lists, escorting pupils safely, liaising with school staff, and keeping the bus tidy. Your observation and attention to detail directly impact KPIs like on-time routes, zero incidents, and accurate manifests. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structured routines, child-focused service, and hands-on safety responsibilities. Over time, you can grow from Aide to Transport Coordinator and eventually Student Services Assistant, building a career in school operations and pupil welfare. Key Responsibilities: - Check route lists; seat belts; attendance. - Escort young pupils; liaise with parents/guards. - Record incidents; keep the bus tidy. Education & Experience: - Certificate in any field; child-care interest; 0–1 year. Skills: - Calm presence, observation, politeness, and punctuality. KPIs: - On-time routes, zero incidents, accurate manifests. Compensation (Kenya): - Base: KES 38,000–48,000. - Route premium: +KES 500–800 per very early or late route.
