Openings: 4 Location: Nairobi – Wangige Market (seedling hub, metro Kiambu edge) Overview: Our client is a seedling specialist supplying smallholders and urban farms. You’ll work in shaded tunnels, preparing trays, monitoring moisture, and grading orders by size and vigor. Cleanliness prevents disease; labels and dates prevent mix-ups. Dispatch days are busy but systematic with checklists, photos, and careful packing. If you find satisfaction in neat trays and high germination percentages, this nursery team will help you develop fast. Key Responsibilities: - Sow seeds; maintain moisture; manage shade nets. - Prick out; grade seedling health; prep orders. - Sanitize trays; accurate labels and dispatch. Education & Experience: - Certificate in Horticulture; 0–1 year. Skills: - Fine motor skills, cleanliness, labeling accuracy, and stamina. KPIs: - Germination %, order accuracy, disease incidence, tray turnaround. Compensation (Kenya): - Base: KES 33,000–44,000. - Order-accuracy bonus: KES 1,000–2,000/month.
