You’ll learn every detail from sparkling bathrooms to perfectly folded linens and fully stocked minibars so each stay meets brand standards. Supervisors will guide you closely, balancing speed with care, making sure nothing slips through the cracks. Honesty and courtesy matter as much as cleaning skills. Handling lost-and-found items responsibly and greeting guests with a warm, professional attitude are non-negotiable. Every action contributes to a seamless guest experience, and your work will be noticed when you leave a room better than you found it. Daily routines rotate between guest rooms, bathrooms, and trolleys. You’ll follow structured checklists, report maintenance issues, and develop a rhythm that keeps the team efficient while maintaining top quality. This role rewards people who thrive on visible results: a gleaming bathroom, a pristine bed, and a tidy minibar are proof of skill and attention. It’s fast-paced, physically engaging, and demands stamina but it’s also satisfying when each room shines under your care. Key Responsibilities: - Clean rooms & bathrooms; restock amenities to standard. - Report maintenance issues and manage lost & found. - Maintain trolley setup; follow checklists. Education & Experience: - Certificate in Housekeeping/Any; 0–1 year. Skills: - Detail, stamina, guest courtesy, time targets. KPIs: - Rooms/hour, quality audits, guest scores, zero losses. Compensation (Kenya): - Base: KES 34,000–46,000. - Productivity bonus: KES 1,000–2,000/month for audit scores. - Night premium: +10% when rostered.
