You’ll set up equipment, lead warm-ups, and model fair play while keeping sessions engaging and age-appropriate. Every drill and mini-match is an opportunity to guide young athletes kindly. You’ll practice clear instructions, manage excited groups, and maintain simple attendance and incident logs so parents and supervisors can follow along. Safety and fun go hand-in-hand here. Equipment care is part of the craft: checking surfaces, storing cones and bibs, laundering kit, and keeping inventory ensures sessions run smoothly and accidents are avoided. Supporting inter-school fixtures adds a dynamic twist helping with transport logistics, match prep, and on-field supervision teaches planning, teamwork, and adaptability. Key Responsibilities: - Set up cones/goals; check surfaces and equipment safety. - Lead warm-ups and cool-downs; demo basic technique. - Assist drills for football, athletics, netball; supervise mini-matches. - Track attendance; log incidents; communicate with parents when asked. - Maintain equipment store; launder bibs; inventory weekly. - Support inter-school fixtures and simple transport logistics. - Reinforce safeguarding and inclusive participation. Education & Experience: - Certificate/Diploma in PE/Sports; 0–1 year. Skills: - Clear instructions, energy, safeguarding, and patience. KPIs: - Attendance, injury-free sessions, punctual starts, and feedback scores. Compensation (Kenya): - Base: KES 38,000–50,000. - Club stipend: KES 600 per after-school session (Mon–Thu). - Meet day premium: KES 800 on inter-school days.
