You’ll learn to manage surveillance zones, conduct rescues, and support lessons with precision and calm. Weekend meets and lesson blocks keep the days varied and engaging. Daily water tests and deck maintenance are part of the craft. Logging pH, chlorine, and backwash routines ensures every session meets safety standards and keeps swimmers healthy. Attention to detail here directly protects the people in your care. Supporting lessons means handling lane ropes, kickboards, timing swimmers, and assisting coaches. Calm announcements, clear rules, and consistent vigilance make lessons both fun and orderly. Post-session debriefs help refine practices and maintain high standards. KPIs: - Incident-free days, test log completeness, punctuality, and lesson support quality. Compensation (Kenya): - Base: KES 40,000–54,000. - Weekend meet premium: +10% for Saturday events. - Certification uplift: KES 3,000/month after lifeguard qualification.
