Coordinating fixtures, updating brackets, and recording results accurately ensures competitions run on time. Radios and clear communication are your allies for keeping multiple pitches aligned. Crowd and participant management is just as important as the physical set-up. Calm guidance, quick problem-solving, and courteous interactions help everyone enjoy the event and stay safe. On finals days, speed and accuracy get extra attention every second counts. Post-event, you’ll oversee equipment returns, inventory, and storage, while liaising with first-aid, security, and vendors. A neat handover signals a well-run event and keeps the next day’s prep easier. Education & Experience: - Diploma Events/Sports; 0–1 year. Skills: - Planning, stamina, radio comms, and courteous problem solving. KPIs: On-time starts, results accuracy, equipment return rate, participant feedback. Compensation (Kenya): - Roster day rate: KES 1,800–2,300 (≈ KES 36,000–46,000/month depending on calendar). - Finals day premium: +KES 400 per finals event. Client estimates vary with seasonality, late finishes, and the ability to manage multiple pitches. Day rates move up after 3 clean events. Benefits: - Meals, PPE, and late transport when needed.
