Key Responsibilities: - Set academic priorities and termly targets; run data-driven teacher coaching. - Lead staffing, timetabling, observations, and performance appraisals. - Oversee safeguarding, discipline policy, and wellness programs. - Manage budgets, procurement, audits, and fee collection governance. - Chair PTA/Board meetings; escalate risks with clear action plans. - Ensure compliance with MoE/KNEC standards; maintain inspection readiness. Education & Experience: - B.Ed or PGDE + TSC registration; 7–10 years teaching with 3+ years in leadership. Skills & Tools: - Instructional leadership, budgeting, stakeholder communication, MIS (e.g., Kinetic/EdAdmin), and safeguarding. KPIs: -Mean grade improvements, attendance, teacher retention, parent satisfaction, and audit findings closed. Compensation (Kenya): KES 190,000–300,000 base + annual performance bonus. Figures are estimates based on our clients' experiences and vary depending on your seniority, interview performance, and other factors.
